The Sun and Us

Nature is a huge source of inspiration in the work I do, i.e, understanding the sun in relation to the time and space i'm in. Why do sunsets give us long shadows? How does that differ from the afternoon sun? Why do we love taking pictures of sunsets and rainbows? How does it speak to us?
One thing I enjoy about light is its honesty. In our upcoming film, we played with various characteristics of light - shadow, reflection, refraction, rhythm and colour - with material. The main material being glass. How does light play with glass? There were many unexpected images and moments playing with these two things.
