Play the Glass

Glass is an important character in our film. Why glass? I personally have a fascination with the material. Take drinking wine from a plastic glass as compared to a wine glass. Does the experience change for you? I love drinking cold fruit juices in glass cups because the glass keeps it cold for a longer time and there is enough weight when you pick up the glass to drink from it; it is a fulfilling experience.
The irregular shadows and refractive qualities of glass is also what draws me to the material. There are many other materials that I work with, however in A Light Journey, we chose to work closely with glass. There will be a lot of glass playing in A Light Journey, stay tuned!
